Lingaraj Temple 

It is Situated in the ancient capital of the Kalinga empire, Bhubaneswar. Lingaraja Temple is probably one of India's most remarkable ancient, architectural achievements, with a 54-meter tower dominating the landscape. Encapsuled by high walls on all sides. The Lingaraja temple is one of the most well known temples in Orissa. 

Khandagiri and Udayagiri 

These twin hills are situated in Bhubaneswar. There are 117 caves in these twin hills. The Rani Gumpha is the largest cave in the Udaygiri hill. Another famous cave called the Hati Gumpha is also there where the rock is engraved with Hathigumpha inscription by King Kharavela. These caves contain a Barabhuja temple and a Jain temple.

Atri Hot Springs

 It is Situated in the Khurda district of Orissa India, 42 Kilometers from the capital city Bhubaneswar Odisha, Atri is one of the most popular hot water sulfur springs in Orissa. The Atri sulfur spring is situated in the middle of paddy fields, and a distinct odor of sulfur surrounds the entire surroundings. The waters at the Atri hot water spring maintains a steady temperature of 55 degree centigrade all through out the day.

Dhauligiri

Dhauli Hill, one of the most visited Buddhist pilgrim destinations in India, is situated in the state of Orissa. It is located in the Khurda district, at a distance of approximately 8 km from Bhubaneswar. The hill represents the place where, after witnessing the carnage of Kalinga War, Emperor Ashoka relinquished war and adopted Buddhism. Serving as a proof of this renunciation are the edicts of the Emperor, which have been preserved here.

Nandankanan zoo

This is a famous Zoo of Odisha situated at a distance of 20 km from Bhubaneswar. It is famous for the Botanical garden, zoo and the natural lake. The recently opened Natural lion safari is the largest of its kind in India. The white tigers present here makes it unique across the world.

Deras & Jhumka

Two picnic spots situated at a distance of 15 km from Bhubaneswar. Deras and Jhumka are two dams surrounded by dense forest.
