It is notified that the academic session for the upcoming even semester will start from 29th of January 2024 as per decision taken in the academic council meeting. For this the detail academic calendar is published in the notice boards for the reference. Hence as per the calendar classes for Diploma 2nd and 3rd year will start from 29th January 2024, where as for 1st students it will start from 5th February 2024. Similarly Classes for B. Tech 4th and 6th Sem. will start from 1st February 2024 and for 2nd semester it is from 8th February 2024. For MBA 2nd and 4th Semester classes will start from 8th February 2024. The timetable for the even semester classes will be published on 29th January 2024 in main and other notice boards.

The 75th Republic day will be celebrated tomorrow by hoisting the National Flag in the college premises. It will be conducted exactly at 9:00 AM and hence all students, faculty and staff are advised to present on the occasion to pay the respect to our constitution and our mother land.

It is hereby informed to the all staff, faculty and students that college is going to publish its annual souvenir for the academic year 2023-24. In this regard go through the following points and act accordingly

  • Those who are having any achievements in the field of academics, sports, co-curricular of extracurricular activities then give the information to the concerned HODs with photographs for publication.
  • You are also advised to submit an article in terms of technical, stories or any other matter in any language for publication.
  • Departments are advised to submit the events conducted like seminars, workshops, conferences, study tours etc may be informed for the publication.
  • If you are having any other matters that can be included in the chapters of the souvenir may also be submitted in the department.
    The publication committee and the cultural committee will take the final decision regarding acceptance of the item to publish. The same has to be done before 31st of January 2024.

It is notified to the 5th semester students that your semester examination will start from 27th of December 2023. Further your class test-2 will be held from 21st to 23rd December 2023. Hence you have to satisfy the minimum requirements as per the university curriculum.

1. You should have to get all types of academic clearances from the department and this you will get by appearing both the class tests, submitting the laboratory records, assignments, quizzes and any other as advised by the respective departments. Hence get the clearance during appearing your class test-2.
2. You should have to get clearance from the accounts section by paying at least 60% of your tuition fees for the ongoing academic year and the pending dues for previous years if any.
3. Your admit cards for the upcoming semester examination will be issued from the accounts section as per the availability from the university. For this you need to have both academics and accounts clearance. Without the academic clearance no one will get the admit card though you may have the accounts clearance.
4. You are advised to collect all your admit cards by 26th of December 5:00 PM.

As per the discussion in the academic council meeting Evening Tutorial Classes are scheduled and they will be starting from Monday i.e. 11th December 2023. All the classes will be conducted from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM evening. Classes will be held in Block-A. 1st Semester classes will be carried out in the 2nd floor and the 3rd Semester classes in the 1st Floor. Accordingly HODs and concerned faculty members discuss and finalize to conduct the classes. The schedule is given below for the reference. As per the schedule the classes will roll over in every 2 weeks time. Follow the notice given in the notice board.

For final year B. Tech students
The 2nd Class Test will be held on 6th and 7th December 2023. Students need to have academic clearance by completing Seminar and Minor project activities and submitting their reports in the department, attending both the class tests. They need clear tuition fees dues for the 4th year studies with others if any before 8th December 2023. This will allow them in getting the admit cards for the 7th semester examination.

For M. Tech and MBA final year students
M. Tech students need to give presentations on the thesis work that they are going to accomplish in their final year. For this you have to choose your guide from now itself. MBA students need to submit individual Summer Internship Project with presentation in the department before your third semester examination. Both of them need to clear at least 60% of your dues of 2nd year and others if any before getting the admit cards for the 3rd semester examination.

The Class Test-I for 1st and 3rd semester for the academic session 2023-24, will be held from 30th Nov. 2023 to 2nd Dec. 2023.

A National Seminar on “Cyber Security- The Need of The Hour” scheduled to be held on 25th November 2023 in collaboration with Cyber Dojo. Khordha district collector Mr. Sidharth Kataria will be the Chief Guest of the program. The program will be conducted at the Kalam Hall, block –B. The timing of the seminar will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

It is for information for the 1st year students taken admission for the academic year 2023-24 that Blazers are available at the store (Near Central Library) and hence you are advised to collect the same from Monday i.e. 13th November 2023 onwards. For this you need to pay an amount of Rs 1500/-. Further Mr. Dipak Ranjan Satapathy HOD I/C is instructed to make necessary arrangement for the same.

As per the decision taken, it is hereby informed to all students that the reference section of the central library will remain open in the evening hours i.e. till 8PM on each working day for the study purpose of students. This facility can be availed by the students from Monday i.e. 20th November 2023 onwards. Students will use the same as per the following schedule.

1st Year students Monday and Thursday
2nd Year Students Tuesday and Friday
3rd Year Students Wednesday and Saturday

Students are advised to dress properly with college uniform, tie, belt and shoes and come to college for their regular classes.

As per the decision of the academic council both boys’ and girls’ hostel will remain locked from 9:30AM onwards to 2:30 PM in each working day.
